Central Bank Utah

It is a private banking institution located in the county of Utah. It now offers banking services that include online bill payments, ATMs, mobile banking, financial administration, and more. Currently, it operates in 10 locations within Utah.

History

It was founded under the name of Springville Banking Company in 1891 with the help of Milan Packard. It was established because the inhabitants at that time had to keep their gold in stores and keep it safe. It gradually expanded until 1924 and consolidated to the point of not needing government capital during the Great Depression. Subsequently, the Provo State Bank was created in 1902, which merged with the Springville Banking Company in 1966 to form Central Bank and Trust. The bank expanded and consolidated even more financially and opened offices in Payson, American Fork, Lehi, Orem, Pleasant Grove, and Traverse Mountain.
